A wind farm showing off a fall landscape

In the last few weeks I've done some fall photography at a local wind farm in rural-Stark County, IL near Camp Grove, IL. This wind farm was established in 2007 and is a frequent destination for myself as of late for photography purposes. It's nice to check this location out in the fall and winter as it usually provides some beautiful landscape photography here in west-central Illinois. One of these days I need to get a good shelf cloud passing over this wind farm. Guess, I'll have to wait till next spring for that opportunity though. Anyway, I've added a large collection of photos I've taken in recent weeks at this local wind farm below:
A circular polarizer filter is very
important on a bright sunny day!
A great location for some fall landscapes...
One of my favorites in this bunch...
A departing storm system on this day 09/14/11...
Their are some ice crystals up there! Beautiful portrait-shot here!
The sun peaks in behind some clouds here...

Looking west...pretty cool to see how each day these things
change direction based on the wind direction...

I'll go where the wind blows...
Cloudy skies on this day...grr!
Another favorite here...
One last photo to end on as a cold front
pushes east of the wind farm...

Stay tuned for a fall post in the coming weeks as the leaves are starting to change color in Peoria, IL. Lets chase some fall foliage eh?
