A few weeks ago some chilly fall mornings and left over moisture at the surface led to some valley fog in rural-Stark County, IL and rural-Bureau County, IL specifically on 09/29 and 10/04. This provided a few photo-opportunities since I had many errands to run over the past couple of weeks back and forth from
Kewanee, IL and
Peoria, IL. On the morning of 09/29 a nice alto-cumulus cloud deck also provided for some good photography at sunrise as well. I've added photos from these two days below:
A very nice shot to start the morning...
The sun rises here in the east illuminating
some fog in low-lying areas...
A nice fall early morning landscape here in
rural-Bureau County, IL outside Neponset, IL
Fog starting to burn off a little bit here, but
looking kind of "ghostly" as it was moving over
this country road to the left...
Maybe my favorite shot on this early morning?!
A foggy landscape and a wind farm (background)...
Quite a spectacular sunrise that probably
most people slept through...
A grain bin providing a nice fall landscape with
the alto-cumulus field (above)
Another nice landscape shot...got to love Illinois!
The sun rises on this farm field that's being harvested...
Wind farm at sunrise and more of that
"ghostly" valley fog...
Another shot outside Bradford, IL
One last shot here of an abandoned church in Elmira, IL
beneath the alto-cumulus cloud deck...
That will wrap up this post. I did manage to photograph fall foliage here in the past couple weeks. Stay tuned for that post here in the next week or so...
