Beautiful LP storm to my west
After a warm spring day with daytime heating most of the day some convection began to build upstream to our northwest in a NW flow setup. Due to the lack of shear severe weather was hard to come by, but I was on the southern edge here in Kewanee, IL of a SLGT risk.
Around dusk a nice storm to my west northwest near Cambridge, IL began heading southeast providing a picturesque sunset. This storm almost appeared as a storm you would see out in the Great Plains. It caught an outflow boundary and with the meager shear present today couldn't do much with rotation, but it did provide a great structure with the lack of shear.
One last shot before we headed in for the night
