06/10/16 Canyonlands National Park

On June 10th, I decided to travel to Canyonlands National Park after spending several days hiking and photographing Arches National Park. It was very hot in this area as well with temperatures near 100°F. That's not the greatest hiking weather to say the least, but I managed nonetheless to stay productive and hydrated during the day. After photographing this park most of the morning I headed back to Moab, UT during the late-afternoon to unpack once again at a Super 8 and enjoy some air-conditioning. I've added several photos I shot of yet another national park below:

The entrance to this national park to mark the beginning of a hot summer day of hiking!
"Highway to Canyonlands"
Mesa Arch, one of the most photographed locations in the park!

Enjoying some shade on a 100°F+ afternoon!

This was also a superb national park to visit as well. Utah, has so many national parks that I still hope to visit someday. This is another great state to visit if you are interested in hiking and awesome landscapes! Just be sure you can tolerate the summer heat in this area though. I would later visit Carhenge in Nebraska on June 12th and I'll update with a post from that day of photography in an upcoming post.
